We used Maya's services to help us buy a flat in London as we live in the north-west. We were unsure if a property locator would be suitable for us as we had a low budget compared to London properties and some I contacted previously were not interested. However, Maya instantly understood our requirements and was able to suggest suitable areas and types of properties to look at. She came up with a great shortlist , visited ones that we were potentially interested in & then arranged back-to-back viewings of our shortlist for our visit.
Once we found a property Maya's negotiated and secured a price, that we don't believe we would have achieved by ourselves (we bought in spring 22 when there were bidding wars and properties were selling above asking price). I believe paying someone to help you buy a property shows the vendors and estate agents that you are serious buyers and puts you in a favourable position when there are several offers for them to choose from.
Maya made the rest of the process so easy for us and saved us so much time. We asked her for recommendations for a surveyor & solicitor (as we didn't know any in the area), they were both great. Maya kept on top of the whole process from offering to exchange, chasing up anyone who was not responding in a timely fashion.
Both Maya and her assistant Anne are lovely people to work with and made the whole process stress free from start to finish. I think using Maya’s services was worth every single penny of her fee and her negotiating skills probably saved us double her fee.
